It isn’t always easy running a business by yourself. So many things to do – marketing, healing, marketing, emails, blog posts, marketing, social media, healings, classes, organizing classes and teachers, helping customers, marketing, inventory, helping customers, marketing…catch my drift? I literally work 24/7 even on my days off. I had not taken time off since February and even then, it was a working vacation.
I had an opportunity fall into my lap to attend a gem show as a vendor and I decided to go. The shop had been slow and I was really getting burned out. As I was pondering about what to do, I decided, “Hey! You own the company! You need to get away from it all so go!” With less than a week’s notice before it was time to leave, I spent the next week preparing in as many ways as I could which included changing business hours on various websites, sending emails letting everyone know and posting on social media. Of course there was still a couple people that didn’t get word of my being closed and for that I sincerely apologize. Every one of you make a difference!
My daughter offered to come along and drive her car as well helping me with the show. Everything literally fell right into place.
We had an excellent show and it was very much worth the time and expense. After being gone 7 days now, I woke up this morning and thought to myself, “Good grief! I’ve been gone for 7 days and either worked or traveled every single one of those days. I am exhausted!” That’s when I started pondering as to if I should stay at our camp one more night and literally take the day off without work…and here I am working. LOL! But at least it is in the beautiful energy of Crater Lake on a little island and the only camper on the island. We are surrounded by lots of birds, dragonflies, running water from the rivers we are surrounded by and beautiful energy! I needed this one more day more than I realized.
I am taking today off without travel and as soon as I get a couple things done, I am putting all equipment away including the phone. No Facebook, no internet, no social media of any kind. I allowed myself one hour to work and it has turned into two hours but I really wanted to write a little. It helps me clear my mind and thought you may be wondering what I was up to.
I am going to be cleansing the healing crystals in the river and letting them sunbathe soaking up some of this clean, clear energy to bring back to Vegas at the shop for us all to share. The crystals will be significantly energized and ready to go back to work.
I thank you for your patience and am so grateful for each and every one of you. The crystals and I did many healings at the show and everyone was very receptive to it. I somehow got out of there without any pictures of the booth and setup. Go figure! It was beautiful though! Our 10×20 booth was located between 4 huge pine trees and a running stream ran about 40 feet away. I literally couldn’t have asked for a better location!
I hope you all had a safe and happy July 4th holiday. We will be back on Friday 7/7 late but will be open and ready for the scheduled classes and healings on Saturday 7/8/17. Be sure you check them out. We also have new items that will be available Saturday. One of the vendors next to me is a 70 year old rockhound and had many miscellaneous items he personally picked up in his journeys which means they have not been in a warehouse and literally came from the earth to him then to me. Fresh, clean energy that didn’t need to go through a strong cleansing process. SWEET!
Before I go, I want to put up links to the classes coming up.
Saturday, Angelica begins a 4 week class for Astrology Made Easy. If you are like me, I haven’t got the foggiest idea what things like “Pluto squared Venus” means and how that effects me and the earth in general. I want to learn how to handle the energies more effectively. If you want to learn more, this is a great class! It goes for 4 weeks consecutively with the first class being this Saturday at 11:00-1:00. Saturday at 1:00, Angelica is doing the Psychic Cleansing and Shielding class. This class has received rave reviews from all who have attended. If you want in on this class, here is your opportunity for the July class. HERE ARE THE LINKS.
Next Wednesday is the first Yoga class. Check it out on our Facebook Page. I will be putting the link in this weekend where you can purchase tickets ahead of time. HERE IS A LINK TO THE FACEBOOK EVENT.
Thank you again for being supportive. Everyone has been so understanding and supportive in my decisions and we will be opened again Saturday. See you soon! HUGS! ~Tammy
