Remember that smudging with sage changes the ions as well as sea salt and spring water. You can check the hardness of your crystal here. Be sure your crystal has a Mohs hardness of 6 or higher to cleanse in sea salt and spring water; otherwise, you can smudge it with sage smoke to change the ionic value.
